John J. Donohue
Senior Vice President, Construction
In 1996, John Donohue joined Tucker Development Corporation. Drawing from his multi-faceted background, Mr. Donohue heads up the construction department for the development and redevelopment of retail shopping centers and mixed use projects that include retail, office, and multifamily. Mr. Donohue has successfully overseen the planning and construction of over 3 million square feet during the past 13 years at TDC.

Mr. Donohue started his career at Schal (predecessor to Bovis Construction) as a Field Engineer for public projects. He was responsible for various site work and infrastructure expansion projects at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.

Mr. Donohue moved to retail construction with Vantage Companies as a Tenant Coordinator. During this time at Vantage, he assisted in the construction of shell and interiors of approximately 2.5 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space.

Mr. Donohue continued his career at The Tucker Companies in 1990. As a Construction Manager, he supervised new and existing retail construction of over 3 million square feet of retail space.

Mr. Donohue is a LEED Accredited Professional and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
